Canada continues to levy anti-dumping and countervailing duties on China large-diameter carbon steel welded pipes

On August 3, 2022, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued an announcement to issue an anti-dumping sunset review of Welded Large Diameter Carbon and Alloy Steel Line Pipe originating in or imported from China and Japan. Final judgment on damages, a sunset review of anti-subsidy for the products involved in China, and final judgment on industrial damage, ruling that if the current anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures are canceled, the dumping and government subsidies of the products involved in Canada will continue or occur again, which was issued in October 2016. The final ruling made in the NQ-2016-001 investigation on the 20th continues to be valid.
