Huaxiao Metal is a leading supplier of galvanized steel sheets and coils. Galvanized steel is defined as carbon steel plated with zinc on both sides. There are two main processes for producing galvanized steel: continuous hot dip plating and electro-galvanizing.
The hot dip galvanizing process involves passing the steel through a bath of molten zinc, while the electro galvanizing process involves applying zinc through an electrolytic process. The result is a zinc layer that adheres tightly to the base metal via an iron-zinc bonding layer. Our hot-dip galvanized products are manufactured to ASTM A653 specifications; our electro-galvanized products comply with ASTM A879 specifications.
