Dual phase steel

DP steel produced by LY steel is divided into Bainite DP steel and martensite DP steel. Bainite DP steel produced by LY Steel is an important grade of advanced high strength (AHSS) steel; it possesses high strength, elongation, good formability, and flanging property, which can satisfy the high requirement of formability and complex shape automotive parts such as rear axle suspension swing arm of automotive chassis. It can also be used for the parts that need to be flanged.

The flanging capacity can be identified as the hole expansion rate. As a formability index of the steel, the bearizing property reflects the capability of local crack-resistant in the direction of perpendicular to the hole edge due to the hole edge being locally elongated and too much deformed during hole expansion.

Martensite dual phase steel has excellent formability, high strength, low yield ratio, high original process and hardening rate, good energy absorption the strength and ductility are rationally matched. Dual phase steel has basically solved the problem that the high strength low alloy steel is not easy to be stamped and formed.Dual phase steel is good for manufacturing complex shape parts,such as spoke of auto wheel.
