The U.S. initiates the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on round welded carbon steel pipes

On November 1, 2021, the US Department of Commerce issued an announcement to initiate the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on Circular Welded Carbon Steel Pipes imported from Pakistan, Oman, and the UAE.

At the same time, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review industry damage investigation, in this case, reviewing if the current anti-dumping measures are canceled, within a reasonably foreseeable period, the import of the products involved in the case will have a substantial impact on the domestic industry in the United States.

Whether the sexual damage will continue or happen again. Stakeholders should register with the U.S. Department of Commerce to respond to the suit within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders should submit their comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission before December 1, 2021, and submit comments to the U.S. International Trade Commission on the adequacy of the response to the case by January 13, 2022, at the latest.

On November 17, 2015, the US Department of Commerce initiated an anti-dumping investigation on round welded carbon steel pipes imported from Pakistan, Oman, UAE, and Vietnam. On October 24, 2016, the United States made an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on round welded carbon steel pipes imported from Pakistan, Oman, UAE, and Vietnam.
