Canada launches investigation into China Copper Pipe

On February 15, 2023, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) issued an announcement stating that it launched an anti-dumping re-investigation on copper pipe fittings (Copper Pipe Fittings) imported from China, the United States, and South Korea, and launched a countervailing re-investigation on China copper pipe fittings products.

The survey reviews whether the normal value and export price are updated. The Canadian tax codes of the products involved are 7412.10.00.11, 7412.10.00.19, 7412.10.00.90, 7412.20.00.11, 7412.20.00.12, 7412.20.00.19, 7412.20.00.90. Stakeholders should submit the questionnaire for this case before March 24, 2023.

Copper pipe fittings produced or imported from China initiated the third anti-subsidy sunset review investigation.

On April 7, 2022, the Canadian Border Services Agency made the final ruling on the third anti-dumping sunset review on copper pipe fittings originating in or imported from China, the United States, and South Korea, and made a final ruling on copper pipe fittings originating in or imported from China. The third countervailing sunset review was finalized.
