The U.S. makes the fifth anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on carbon steel butt-welded pipe fittings

On September 17, 2021, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement stating that it will make the fifth anti-dumping rapid sunset on carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from China, Taiwan, Brazil, Japan, and Thailand. The final review of the review ruled that if the anti-dumping duties, in this case, are canceled, the dumping of the products involved in the case in China will continue or reoccur at a dumping rate of 182.90%, the dumping of the products involved in the case in Taiwan, China will continue or reoccur at a dumping rate of 87.30%, and the case in Brazil will be involved.

The dumping of products continues or reoccurs at a dumping rate of 52.25%, the dumping of the products involved in Japan continues or reoccurs at a dumping rate of 65.81%, and the dumping of products involved in Thailand continues or reoccurs at a dumping rate of 52.60%. The U.S. coordinated tariff number of the products involved is 7307.93.30.

On December 12, 1986, the United States formally imposed anti-dumping duties on carbon steel butt welded pipe fittings originating in Brazil and Taiwan, China. On February 10, 1987, the United States officially imposed anti-dumping duties on carbon steel butt welded pipe fittings originating in Japan. On July 6, 1992, the United States formally imposed anti-dumping duties on carbon steel butt-welded pipe fittings originating in China and Thailand.

Since then, the U.S. has conducted 4 sunset reviews, respectively, on January 6, 2000, November 21, 2005, April 15, 2011, and August 23, 2016, with 4 affirmative rulings and extensions. Tax period. On July 1, 2021, the US Department of Commerce issued an announcement to initiate the fifth anti-dumping sunset review investigation on carbon steel butt-welded pipe fittings imported from China, Taiwan, Brazil, Japan and Thailand.
